Get Lit Tip #2

“When someone asks, “Are you doing what you love? Are you living your dreams?” Can you answer with a resounding “YES!”? If not, are you in the process of discovering what your dreams [passion, purpose] are?

People living their dreams—doing and being what they love — are more joy-full and full of life. You can tell when you meet them because you feel refreshed or uplifted by their presence. This joy carries over into everything they do.

Dreams infuse us with hope” and life, and when we’re following after and living them, we make the world a better and more beautiful place.

“Never doubt that a small group of committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” – Margaret Mead

Be committed to doing and being what you love! You are meant to shine. Now is the time.

Q2: “What if you added living your dreams to your list? What would that mean?”

Q3: “If you are already living your dream, would you like to dedicate more time or energy to it? What would that mean?”

So many of us think” we’ll get to our dreams and the life we really want when we have more time.

Guess what? More time never comes.

Time flows naturally to what is VISIBLE, ACTIVE, IMPORTANT, NECESSARY.

Liberate your dreams from their “holding place” or hiding place.” Give them space to breathe. Give them space to truly become. And so will you!

Some ideas:

Make your dream VISIBLE – write your dream on a 3×5 card and tape it to your mirror or in your car.

Make your dream ACTIVE – dedicate 1 hour a week to taking steps to unwrap and activate your dream.

Make your dream IMPORTANT – make your dream a priority — set an appointment on your calendar. Say No to something good so you can say YES to something better (pursuing and living your dream)

Make your dream NECESSARY – Embrace the real impact of finding your spark (passion, purpose, dreams).

Be inspired for it’s necessity by the results shared by Barbara Sher of “two Harvard psychologist who completed a study of people who called themselves happy. And what did happy people have in common? Money? Success? Health? Love? None of these things. They had only two things in common: They knew exactly what they wanted and they felt they were moving toward getting it.

In other words when your life has direction and that direction is headed straight for what you love”, a meaningful and fulfilling life is on your horizon!

FIND YOUR SPARK. LOVE YOUR LIFE.
